Charlton look worth a  wager at the 13/5 generally on offer to win their FA Cup quarter-final clash at Sheffield United today (12pm KO, Live on BTSport 1).

It’s no surprise to see plenty of support in the market for favourites Sheffield United given that they are a side in form with eight wins in a row

Their manager Nigel Clough has done wonders to turn things around at  Bramall Lane but this is not as easy as the bookies make out as Charlton have been very good on their travels and reserved all their best pefroamnces this season for this competition.

Their place in the quarter-finals has come courtesy of three away wins, at Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield following a third-round replay success at League 2 Oxford.

It’s also worth noting that the last time these two sides met was in League One in 2011-12, the Londoners won both home and away games without conceding.

Chris Powell’s side are more than capable of serving it up to Sheffield, and are sure to have a game plan to topple the Blades.

Simon Church has scored the winning goal in each of the last two FA Cup ties the Addicks have won, and that makes him look cracking value at 13/5 with bet365 in the anytime scorer market.
