Chelsea to add to QPR’s blues

QPR are still awaiting their first home win in the Premier League this season and that doesn’t look likely change when they play host to Chelsea this afternoon (4pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1)

The Hoops have won just one of the last 14 matches in all competitions against the Blues, and Neil Warnock’s side are difficult to predict as they have put in some good performances in beating Everton and Wolves away, but were woeful when hammered 4-0 by Bolton and 6-0 by Fulham.

Chelsea are the opposite and are now really beginning to find their stride since  manager Andre Villas-Boas introduced fresh blood into his ageing squad.

A 3-1 win over Everton was followed by a 5-0 stroll over Genk in the Champions League and it’s impossible to see QPR being able to halt their winning run.

They look bankers at 2/5 to put in your Sunday accas, but there could also be some value to be had in punting Dean Sturridge in the first goal scorer market.

Sturridge is now beginning to realise his full potential and has so far scored four goals in the PL.

He is a standout 9/2 with bet365 and Sky Bet to bag the opener and that makes plenty of appeal.

Chelsea have now gone seven Premier League games without keeping a clean sheet for the first time since 2003, but this surely represents a chance to put things right.

They are 5/4 with Coral, Paddy Power and Victor Chandler not to concede, and that looks another good bet.
