First Flow looks decent value at 11/1 in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices Hurdle that gets proceedings underway at the 2018 Cheltenham Festival (1.30).
Kim Bailey’s six-year-old is a strapping sort who is unbeaten in three spins over the obstacles.
After powering clear in the mud to slam the well-reagrded Dell Oro by 20 lengths at Newbury he took the step up into Grade 2 company in his stride when beating Midnight Shadow by 10 lengths at Haydock on bottomless ground.
First Flow travelled well throughout in the latter and only had to be ridden clear apporoaching the last to quickly put the race to bed and win with tons in hand.
The runner-upn had some solid efforts to his name heading into the contest and it was a most taking performance which suggested there was even better to come.
He looks well worth a crack at this level and his proven form on heavy ground is a big plus.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way First Flow (11/1 Paddy Power – BOG)
