Flying Tiger looks well-treated om the pick of his form and makes plenty of appeal at 12/1 in the Randox Health County Handicap Hurdle (2.10).
Nick Williams’ charge enjoyed his finest hour at this meeting 12 monthd ago when landing the 22-runner Fred Winter by a neck from Divin Bere off a mark of 134.
He has failed to get his head in front since but has acquitted himself well in some decent contests this season.
They include when third to London Prize in the Grade 2 Elite Hurdle at Wincaton and when occupying the same spot behind dual Chanmpion Hu7rdle winner Buveur D’air in the Grade 1 Fighting Fith at Newcastle.
Flying Tiger was also far from disgrarced last time out when fifth to Elgin in the Grade 2 Kingwell Hurdle at Wincamnton in a race which wasn’t run to suit.
All those runs have come in s all fields and the return to a bigger one where he will get the strong pace he needs to be seen at his best is a big plus.
He also looks on a handy mark off 140, is 1-1 at the venue, and has the services of Noel Fehily in the saddle.
This has clearly been his target all season and Flying Tiger looks primed to run a huge race.
