City fancied to batter Blackburn

The first of today’s FA Cup action sees Blackburn play host to Man City (12.45pm KO, Live on BT Sport1) and the visitors look worthy odds-on favourites to emerge victorious.

The Citizens have an excellent record in the competition having played in two of the last thre finals.

They won the trophy for the fifth time when they beat Stoke in 2011, but they were beaten by Wigan in last year’s final.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have also won 11 of their last 12 games in all competitions, and it’s no suprise that they are a top priced 1/3 to win this.

However backing them at that price makes little appeal, and I am going to suggest that the best value is for them to score 3 goals or more at even money with Coral.

They have a whole host of players capable of finding the back of the net and  if they get off to a good start the floodgates could really open.
