Clef bounced back to form lat time out and looks worth a bet at 11/2 to go on better and land the 3.30 at Windsor today now eased in grade.

Richard Fahey’s filly had some smart form as a juvenile, winning three times and finishing runner-up in a class 3 nursery at Newmarket off a mark of 82.

She failed to sparkle in her first two runs this season but there was more more to like about her latest effort when keeping on well to finish a 1 3/4 length second to Jay Kay in a class 3 at Ayr.

Clef has since been kindly dropped another 2lb to 75 and that makes her a huge player at the weights if building on her latest effort.

She also now drops down into class 4 company for just the second time in her career having won a nursery at Doncaster in the grade last July.

Taking everything into account, she looks to have plenty going for her in the hands of Paul Hanagan.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Clef (11/2 bet365, BetVictor, Paddy Power, William Hill – BOG)
