Edged Out has become well-treated and looks worth a bet at 8/1 in the 4.00 at Chepstow today now eased in grade.
Chris Mason’s mare was last successful at Salisbury 14 months ago when staying on well to score by 3/4 of a length at Salisbury off a mark of 71.
She is now able to race off just 66 – her lowest rating since May 2013 – and comes into the race on the back of some solid efforts.
They include when up when a 2 1/4 length third of five to Oel De Tigre in a class 4 at Goodwood off 71 and a 2 1/4 length third to Rio Ronaldo in a similar grade affair at
Salisbury.
The form of those races read well in the context of thos class 6 affair and Edged Out is 1-1 in the grade.
Finley Marsh also takes off another 5lb with his claim and Edged Out is also a two time winner over course and distance. This is the easiest task she has faced for a long time and she looks weighted to run a huge race on the pick of her form.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-ay Edged Out (8/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
