Class-dropping Heath Hunter handicapped to strike

Heath Hunter has become dangerously well-treated and makes plenty of appeal at 7/1 in the 12.55 at Hyadock today now eased in grade.

David Pipe’s charge is on a lng loising run having not scored since landing a class 3 handicap at Ffos Las back in January 2015 off a mark of 127.

However, he has run a number of solid races to finish in the frame including off marks of 132 twice.

Having once been rated as high as 138 he is now able to race off just 117.

That is a career-low and a massive 10lb lower than when last victorious.

It gives Heath Hunter major claims at the weights, especially now dropped back down into class 4 company in which he has 66% strikle rates (2 wins from 3 starts).

He also goes well in the mud and another plus is that he has the services of David Noonan in the saddle who takes off another 3lb with his claim.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Heath Hunter (7/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
