Class-dropping See Of Rome worth siding with

See Of Rome has been given a real chance by the handicapper and looks worth siding with at 9/2 in the 2.35 at Goodwood today now eased in grade.

Richard Hughes’ charge opened his account in good style when landing a Salisbury maiden by 5 lengths 12 montsh ago and went on to finish a solid third of 12 to Walton Street two starts later in a class 3 handicap here off 84.

See Of Rome has failed to trouble the judge in five subsequent starts but they have been in class 2 and 4 company.

He now drops back down into a class 5 off 77, the same rating as when winning his maiden, and has won once and been placed twice from 3 runs in the grade.

It gives him a big shout at the weights on the pick of his form in what looks the weakest contest he has contested for some time.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win See Of Rome (9/2 generally available – use BOG firms)
