Murdanova is back down to his last winning mark so now returned to his favourite stomping ground looks worth a punt at 9/2 to get back to winning ways in the 7.00 at Wolverhampton today. This Ivan Furtado trained six-year-old is a three time course and distance winner and has won four of his nine starts at the venue overall – also finishing placed twice. His last success came in this race 12 months ago where he ran on strongly to beat Rouge Nuage by a length off a rating of 75. Murdanova is now able to race off the same rating and comes into the contest having shaped as if needing his two outings following a break. He should now be ready to do himself justice and has a 33 per cent on the Tapeta surface having won four times and been placed twice form 12 starts on it. The booking of Jason Hart to do the steering for the first time is also an eye-catching one as he has a strike rate of 30 per cent when teaming up with the yard in the past 12 months having rode three winners and two placed from just 10 rides – resulting in a profit of £20 to a £1 level stake.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Murdanova (9/2 Sky Bet – BOG)
