Course specialist Osteopathic Remedy too big at 12s

Course specialist Osteopathic Remedy is back down to his last winning mark and looks value at 12/1 to take advantage now dropped in grade in the 3.55 at Ripon today.

Michael Dods’ veteran is a four time winner over course and distance, with his last success coming off a mark of 90 in a class 2 hanidcap last August where he ran on strongly to beat Robert The Painter by 2 lengths.

He got put up to 96 for that success, and went on to run a solid race two starts later at Haydock off 95 when a close up 7th of 15 to Gworn.

The 10-year-old also ran well on his econd start this season when keeping on strongly to finish fourth of 14 to Forst Bastion in the class 2 Thirsk Hunt Cup off 92, before running below par last time out at this venue in a similar grade affair.

However, the handicapper has now dropped him another couple of pound to 90, the same as when last successful, and that makes him look well-treated if bouncing back now eased in grade into class 3 company.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Osteopathic Remedy (12/1 bet365, Betfred, Boylesports, Stan James, Sky Bet – BOG)
