Course specialist Rouge Nuage weighted to go well at Wolves

Rouge Nuage is back down to his last winning mark and makes plenty of each-way appeal at 14/1 in the 6.50 at Wolverhampton today now returned to his favourite stomping ground.

Conrad Allen’s charge is a five-time course and distance winner, with the last of those successes coming in August where he got up close home to score by a short-head off 74.

He backed that up with a solid neck second at Chelmsford off 75, but after being raised a further 2lb has failed to cut any ice in three subsequent runs at that venue.

However, he is now back down to a rating of 74 as a result and that gives him a big shout at the weights.

Rouge Nuage also goes well for Jimmy Quinn, who has won 5 and been placed on 5 occasions from 24 rides on him, and hails from a yard that has saddled two winners from its last 4 runners.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Roue Nuage (14/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
