Dabyah looks decent value at 6/1 in the Challenge Stakes at Newmarket today (3.00).
John Gosden’s filly was a smart juvenile who made it three wins from four starts when landing the Group 3 Fred Darling stakes on seasonal reappearance at Newbury by a comfortable 1 3/4 lengths.
Dabyah then ran very well to finish a 3 1/2 length fourth to dual Classic winner Winer in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Ascot.
The form of that race has worked out really well, with the runner-up Roly Poly having gone on to score three times at the highest level and the third home Hydrangea having beaten Winter in the Group 1 Matron Stakes at the Curragh before finishing second in a Group 1 at at Chantilly.
This Group 2 represents a drop in class and Dabyah comes into the contest fresh, hails from a yard in good form, and will be suited by the drop back to 7f
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Dabyah (6/1 Boylesports, Paddy power, Sky Bet, William Hill – BOG)
