Dark Alliance has slipped to a dangerous mark and is strongly fancied to take advantage and land the spoils in the 4.15 at Wolverhampton today.
The seven-year-old hasn’t won since scoring at Dundalk back in October 2016 off a mark of 77 but did post a really solid effort last year when sixth of 20 to Robero in a competitive class 4 contest at Ascot off 79.
He is now able to race off a career-low of just 67 and comes itno the race having shaped well last time out over course and distance when fifth of 12 to King Of Nepal.
That was his second run back from a break and Dark Alliance should now be spot on to do himslef justice.
He also now drops down into class 6 company for the first time and on the pick of his form looks thrown-in at the weights.
