Darloa worth a dabble at 14/1

Darloa is is on handy mark at present and makes plenty of appeal at 14/1 in the 3.40 at Uttoxeter today.

Victor Dartnall’s charge started life off in handicaps on a mark of 100 and is now able to race off 86.

Although disappointing last tim eout he has previously posted a career-best effort when an 8 3/4 length third to Ablazing over course and distance off 3lb higher.

The winner, from whom he was receiving 6lb, has come out and won twice since with the latest of those successes coming off 114 and the runner-up Vic’s Last Stand – who was receving 4lb from the selection has gone to to win his next two starts in good style to be rated 105.

That is extremely strong form in the context of this contest and a repeat effort makes Darloa a big player.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Darloa (14/1 William Hill – BOG)
