Del Boy to Take on Nordic Nightmare

London’s Dereck Chisora has jumped at the chance to take on Finish demolion man Robert Helenius for the vacant European Heavyweight title at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki on 3rd December.

The unbeaten Fin has 16 wins with 11 KO’s and has stopped Siarhei Liakhovich, Samuel Peters and Lamon Brewster all former world champions in the early rounds. While Chisora who lost to Tyson Fury earlier in the year won his last contest in Halifax when he beat Remigius Ziausys over eight-rounds.

Del Boy said”I’m surprised Helenius’ people wanted me to fight their unbeaten golden boy, they must be going on my performance in my last fight and think I’m easy pickings”

Helenius believes the backing of his patriotic fans will be key. “Their support has always been fantastic,” he stated. “They raised the roof last November when I defeated Attila Levin before the Super Six clash between Abraham and Froch. This time, they will be even louder and lift me to victory. I will be the new European champion on December 3!”

This fight is going to be cheif support to Povetkin v Boswell for Povetkin’s WBA Heavyweight crown and this sure to be some fight with promoters Sauerland having already sold 8,000 tickets.

Daily Sport says – Having seen Helenius destroy Sam Peter we think Dereck going to have an up hill struggle beating this guy, but wish him the best of luck.
