Destinys Rock holds solid claims at Wolves

Destinys Rock looked an unlucky loser last time out and looks worth a bet at 9/2 to get back to winning ways in the 7.45 at Wolverhampton today.

Mark Loughnane’s four-year-old filly went down by a fast diminishing 1/2 a length to Proceed over course and distance in a race in which nothing went to plan.

After being held-up she was still going strongly two from home when forced widest of all rounding the home turn as the winner kicked for home.

Destinys Rock allowed Proceed first run before flying home to be gaining hand over first at the finish.

She now meets that Proceed on 1lb better terms and had previously beaten that rival over course and distance.

Given how the race panned out that should be enough to see Destinys Rock gain revenge and she is clearly at the top of her game at present having taken her form to a new level following a break.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Destinys Rock (9/2 Betfair, Paddy Power – BOG)
