Dilgura caught the eye last time out and makes plenty of appeal at 7/1 in the 4.20 at Lingfield today.

Stuart Kittow’s charge is lightly raced for a six-year-old and has won  two of her 8 starts.

Both those successes have come in class 5 company, which she races in today and has a 50% strike rate in.

She was last successful at Wolverhampton back in October 2013 when beating Burren View Lady by a neck off a mark of 73, and has gradually been working her way back to form following two lengthy spells on the sidelines.

Dilgura ran really well two starts back over course and distance when a 1/2 length third to Luis Vaz De Torres in a clas 4 contest off 74, and also shaped better than the bare result sugget last time out at Wolverhampton when fifith to By Roghts having been poorly positioned and not knocked about.

She has since been dropped 2lb to a mark of 72, 1lb lower than when last successful, and should now be spot on to do herself justice following three spins back after a break.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Dilgura (7/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
