Dominium and Tart a tasty punt at 18/1

Dominium is back down to his last winning mark and makes plenty of each-way appeal at 18/1 now dropped back in trip in the 5.50 at Windsor today.

Jeremy Gask’s charge won twice over at Kempton last year, beating Dream Catcher by 3/4 of a length off a mark of a mark of 68 before going on to slam Pivotal Moment by 3 lengths off 71.

He then went on to finish a fair sixth of 13 to Apostle over 7f at the same venue off 79, and now gets into this off just 71 having shaped as if coming bcak to form over 7f at Kempton last time after disappointing on his first two starts of the camapiagn.

The seven-year-old was awkward leaving the stalls, and after being held-up in the last pair made good headway on the inside to have ever chance a furling from home before weakening and losing two places near the finish.

In the end he was beaten 3 1/2 lengths, but it was an effort which suggested he could well be coming to the boil and ready to take advantage of his falling mark.

The drop back to 6f, over which he has notched three of his four career successes, looks sure to suit and the booking of Robert Tart catches the eye.

Tart rode Dominium to both his successes last season, and now partners him for the first time this year.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Dominium (18/1 Sky Bet – BOG)
