Dont Have It Then has slipped to a dangerous mark and makes plenty of appeal at 9/1 in the 4.20 at Leicester today.
The gelding is on a long losing run having not scored since landing a 6f contest at Kempton back in December 2014 off a mark of 75 when trained by Willie Musson.
However he has posted some solid efforts including when a 1 length fourth of 12 in a class 3 contest at Newmarket back in October off 66 and a 1 1/2 length third of 13 over course and distance off the same rating.
Do’t Have It Then is now able to race off just 63 on his first start for Henry Spiller and comes into the race on the back of an eye-catching return to action after a break when a staying on 1 3/4 length fourth at Kempton in a race which wasn’t run to suit.
The five-year-old is entitled to strip much fitter for that race and on the pick of his form looks weighted to run a huge race.
