Englishman was a big eye-catcher last time out and with underfoot conditions holding no fears makes plenty of appeal at 7/1 in the 3.50 at Haydock today.
Milton Bradley’s seven-year-old is a course and distance winner who wa slast successful at Windsor back in May when scoring by a short-head off a mark of 80.
He has posted some solid efforts since, including when a keeping on 1 1/4 length fourth of 15 to the progressive Ice Age in a competitive class 2 contest at the same venue off his current mark of 82 two starts back.
Englishman backed that up with a 1/4 length fourth of 11 to Hyperfocus over course and distance earlier in the month where he was given far too much to do and finsihed with plenthy of running in him having got going too late to be gaining all the way to the line.
He now meets the winner on 5lb better terms and given how the race panned out that should be enough to see him turn the tables in tis class 3 affair.
He also has Manuel Fernandes in the saddle taking off another 5lb with his claim and a 30% strike rate on the ground.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Englishman (7/1 bet365, Sky Bet – BOG)
