Birmingham have a terrific home record in European fixtures and look a solid bet at 13/10 to beat Club Brugge at St Andrews tonight (8.05pm KO, Live on ITV4).
The Blues have only lost one of their 13 European fixtures on their home patch – winning 10 and drawing two – and did well to beat their Belgian opponents 2-1 on their travels in the first leg of this Europa League tie.
They come into this in tip top shape having won five out of their last six matches in all competitions, whereas their opponents have have lost their last four competitive fixtures.
Brugge have also lost seven and drawn one of their eight previous trips to England in European competition, and it’s difficult to see them posing any real threat this evening.
An on-song Birmingham should be able to regiter a comfortable victory and they are as short as 6/5 to do so with the old enemy.
However Hills offer a stadnout 13/10 and that looks incredible value.
I cannot see that price being available come kick-off and the advice is to snap it up.
