Fattsota looks well treated on his latest effort and makes plenty of appeal at 6/1 in the 8.10 at Windsor.

Marco Botti’s gelding ran his best race since coming over from Italy when a keeping on 4th of 15 to Tullius in a competitive class 2 affair at Newmarket and the form has worked out really well.

The winner went on to land listed contest at this track of a rating of 99, the second home Menmory Cloth finished third in the same race of 95, and the third home Fury went on to score at York last week off 104.

That makes good reading, especially as the handicapper has now dropped the selection 1lb to a mark of 90.

He is now 2lb lower than when beaten just 1/2 a length into third behind Art History over 1m 2f at Pontefract last September on his debut in this country, and that gives him every chance from a handicapping perspective.

The step up in trip to 1m 4f could also bring about further improvement judged on his two best efforts, and this class 3 handicap is less taxing than the opposition he faced last time out.

To me everythi9ng looks in place for a huge run, and at the odds on offer he looks solid value.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts each-way Fattsota (6/1 BetVictor, Hills, Paddy Power – BOG)
