Federici ran a blinder last time out and looks worth a wager to cash-in on a drop in class to get back to winning ways in the 2.45 at Haydock today.
Donald McCain’s charge finished a 16 3/4 length fourth of 15 to handicap blot Blaklion in the grade 3 Becher Chase at Aintree having raced from 4lb out of the weights.
He is now able to race in this lower grade class 3 affair off his correct mark of 129, just 5lb higher than when previously scoring at Kelso last month in good style by 3 lengths.
His current rating looks exploitable given that he has been rated as high as 136 in the past and another plus is that he has proven form on bottomless ground.
This is also far easier than the Becher and he hails fom a yard that has a 30% strike rate with its runners at the track in the past 12 months.
So taking eveything into account, Federici looks to have eveything in his favour to get back to winning ways.
