8/1 Frontier Dancer handicapped to strike
Frontier Dancer is very well treated back over hurdles in the 3.10 at FFos Las on his first start for Lawney Hill and is of major interest at 8/1.
The gelding contested some top handicap hurdles in the 9009/10 season when trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and made a promising start over fences last season before his form tailed off badly.
However he is now with a yard who has a tremendous record with similar types and races off a career low hurdles mark.
The seven-year-old runs off just 122 today and that is 13lb lower than when he beat the very useful Eradicate by 4 1/2 lengths at Perth back in April 2009.
He followed up that win with an excellent second to Fairyland off the same mark in a listed handicap hurdle at Newbury where he had some very useful types in behind.
There is no doubt that if his handler has got him back to anywhere near his best then he is potentially chucked-in at the weights, and with conditions ideal and David Bass taking off another 3lb he looks a massive price at 8/1.

5/1 Kimberlite ready to be King
Kimberlite King makes his debut for the in-form Tim Vaughan yard in the 2.35 at Ffos Las and makes plenty of appeal at 5/1
The gelding was a very useful hurdler when trained in Ireland by Colm Murphy and he opened his account over fences at the fourth time of asking when beating Errit Lake by five lengths in testing conditions at Fairyhouse back in February 2010.
He was rated 123 on that effort but his jumping held him back in subsequent starts and he has failed to score since.
However he has always contested decent races and if his new handler can iron out his jumping then there is little doubt in my mind that he is more than capable of winning plenty of races from his current mark.
He also shaped better than the finishing result suggests when last seen in action at Navan back in February, and connections have certainly found him a nice race for his debut in this country.
With the in-form Richard Johnson in the saddle he must take all the beating with a clear round, and the 5/1 on offer looks good value.
