Anthony “Million Dollar” Crolla (22-2) looks to make his first defense of his British lightweight title live on BoxNation (channel 456) tomorrow night against the experienced Willie Limond (34-3).
Crolla, who won the title so impressively when dominating the useful John Watson with a high energy performance which ended with a crushing knockout in the ninth round, faces his friend – the light punching Limond who recently went 6 rounds with faded legend Erik Morales.
He is a decent British Fighter but lacks the a dig to take him to a decent level and will certainly be be an interesting gauge to assess the progress that Crolla has made.
Crolla, being a inmate of the Gallagher Gym, will be fit to go 12 rounds – even if I was on his back! He will set a fast pace and seems to carry a fair punch that should be enough to wear down Limond inside 9 rounds.
