Fingerontheswitch is back down to his last winning mark and looks worth a wager at 10/1 in the 3.30 at Doncaster today.
Neil Mulholland’s gelding is 1-1 at the track having landed his last hurdles success over course and distance back in February 2016 when scoring by 3 lengths off a rating of 123.
He backed that up with a solid second at Haydock off 137 and has twice finished runner-up this season off 127.
Although disappointing last time out he has been dropped 4lb since and is now able to race off 123.
That gives him every chance from a handicapping persoective and this is easier than when he was far from disgraced at Haydock when sixth of 16 to Sam Spinner off 7lb higher.
The return to a quicker surface is aslo in his favour and in receipt of weight from all bar on e of his rivals everything looks in place for a big run.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Fingerontheswitch (10/1 Stan James – BOG)
