Frampton ready to deliver biggest career performance against Warrington

Carl Frampton says he is ready to deliver the biggest fight of his career if needed to beat Josh Warrington in Manchester on the 22nd of December.

Speaking at a press conference in Leeds the Jackal said, “I will be ready and will put in the performance of my life to win this fight, this fight might come down to who has the biggest heart I might have to deliver the performance of my career, but I am ready”.

After beating Luke Jackson at Windsor Park last time out the man from tiger’s bay said, “It would mean the world to me to go home with the belt it would mean more to me winning this one than possibly all my other ones put together because a lot of people said I was finished”.

Frampton also said he feels he is in his prime years and can’t wait for the big Christmas showdown “It’s going to be a big night I’ve been written off people are saying that I’ve been on the slide now I feel I am in my prime years. it’s always special when there’s an all British fight and I can’t wait for it”.

“If you look back to interviews 6 years ago I was counting down the days to retirement I was beating top guys when I wasn’t happy that’s says a lot now it’s different a happy fighter is a dangerous fighter I expect this to be a tough fight I’m in a good place and I am happy”

When asked about what he expects the atmosphere to be like on the big night the Jackal said it’s going to be noisy every time somebody has a success in the fight there’s going to be more noise. Half my fights have been away from home I will use the atmosphere to my advantage”.

Both fighters have a clear mutual respect for each other as they have both worked on BT Sport covering each other in the ring the Jackal saying, “I’ve only hated one man that I have fought and that was Chris Avalos we don’t have to have any sort of hatred going into the fight I have respected all my opponents Josh is no different”.TEAM DAILY SPORT | Boxing Gloves | Baseball Caps | Hoodies
