George Dryden scored in good style last time out and looks decent value at 15/2 to follow-up in the 2.55 at Lingfield today.

Chralie Wallis’ gelding ran on strongly to comfortably beat Brother Tiger by 1 3/4 lengths over course and distance.

To me he scored with more in hand than the winning margin suggests and it was an effort which suggestde there could be even better to come.

A 5lb rise in the weights looks more than fair and George Dryden remains nicely treated off a revised rating of 92 on his back form.

He landed a competitive class 3 handicap at York back in September 2015 by 3 3/4 lengths off a mark of 90 when in the care of Anne Duffield and also ran well to be fourth to Steps off 98 and runner-up in a class 2 at Ripon off 100 last April.

Those runs suggests his current mark is exploitable and he has shown improved form in all three starts since joining Wallis.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win George Dyden (15/2 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
