Germany v Republic of Ireland: Back the hosts at 21/20 on the handicap

Germany are virtually unbackable at 2/13 to beat the Republic of Ireland in thier Wolrd Cup qualifier on home soil tonight (7.45pm) but look a great bet to win at odds against of 21/20 with bet365 on the handicap (-2 goals).

The hosts have scored more goals in World Cup qualifying than any other European side (28) and have lost none of their last 21 qualifiers (W16,D5).

The visitors will also be without Robbie Keane, have won none of their last five matches away from home (D3,L2), and have scored just once in their last four matches in all competitions.

Throw in the fact that the Germans have won two and lost none of their last four clashes with Ireland in all competitions – including a 6-1 win in their last meeting  in October 2012 – and you can see why they look bankers top win this with plenty to spare and terrific value at 21/20 on the -2 goals handicap betting.

The other bet that appeals given the aforementioned scoring record of the Irish is for Germany to win to nil at a standout even money with Coral.

Every other firm goes odds-on about them winning without reply, and the evens is simply too big and should be snapped up.
