Dodina rates a solid bet at 7/2 now dropped back into selling company in the 2.30 at Catterick today.
The Brina Ellison trained filly has struggled in handicaps of late, but her last foray into this company saw her bolt up by 3 1/2 lengths at Redcar back in April off an official rating of 68.
She made all that day and only had to be psuhed out to win with tons in hand, and the four-year-old now runs in this off a career-low rating of 62.
That makes the Ontoawinner syndicate owned daughter of Acclamation the highest rated runner in the line-up if you take out the ungenuine Defence Council who has refsued to race in his last two starts.
It gives her major claims in what looks a very winnable contest, and Dodina also has the services of the promising Megan Carberry in the saddle who take another inavaluable 7lbs off her back.
This look a golden opportunity for Dodina to get back in the winners’ enclosure and it will be disappointing if she doesn’t take it.
Dauily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Dodina (7/2 Sky Bet – BOG)
