Glyder strongly fancied to cash-in on career low mark

Glyder has become dangerously well-treated and is strongly fancied at 4/1 to land the spoils in the 2.35 at Catterick today.

The Jack Holt trained filly notched her sole success over course and distance last June when landing a class 5 handicap by a shoet-head off a mark of 58.

She also ran well on her penultimate outing last season when a 2 3/4 length fourth of 12 at Chepstow off 59.

Glyder is now able to race in this class 6 affair off a career-low of 50 having had three starts this season and shaped well in the last two of those.

She particulalry caught the eye last tiume out over 6f here when after dwelling at the start she travelled powerfully for much of the contest out wide and held every chance approaching the final furlong before being unable to quicken and eventually finishing a 2 3/4 length seventh of 12.

That run suggested her time was near and the drop back to 5f is a big plus. If building on that run she looks weighted to notch career-success number two.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Glyder (4/1 bet365 – BOG)
