Great win by super-flyweight Sammy Cantwell on Saturday night [July 18] after he survived a knockdown in the second to stop Patrik Bartos in 0.37 of the 3rd round with a cracking body shot. Cantwell now 5-0-1, 2 KO’s is looking a cracking prospect and one to watch in the division.

All in all another cracking small hall card at the home of British boxing from Mickey Helliet and Mo Prior with 13 fights there was sure to be something for all fight fans.

Dagenham cruiserweight Robin Dupre overcame a 5th round knockdown by journeyman Moses Matovu to win 58-55 on points in their 6 rounder.

Top of the bill light-middle Aarron Morgan stopped Gyula Vajda in 25 seconds with the Hungarian hitting the deck twice before the ref had seen enough. Morgan now 8-0 as a pro with 6 KO’s.

Cheif support saw another quick finish with London super-middle Darryll Williams stopping Vladimir fecko in just over a minute with the Cxech fighter down twice from heavy shots.

Bighton’s Max Wickes made his pro debut beating seasoned journeyman Kevin McAuley over 4 rounds 39-38.

Welterweight Jez Smith the younder brother of Mitchell Smith stopped seasoned journeyman Danny Donchev in 2 rounds to take his pro tally to 2-0.

Rseults in breif – Welterweight Kian Thomas beat Dan Carr over 6 rounds on points 60-52, Feltham lightweight Mickey O’Rourke beat Ibrar Riyaz over 6 rounds 60-55, Highgate light-middle Tony Milch got off the canvas in the 4th to beat Ali Wyatt 38-37 in their 4 rounder, Middleweight Nick Jenman beat Robert Studzinski over 4 rounds 40-36, Tommy Tear beat Victor Edagha over 6 rounds 60-55 at middleweight, Light-middle Asinia Byfiled beat Kristian Laight 40-36 over 4 rounds and Hayes bantamweight Ramesh Ahmadi got a vitory over Robbie Foster after Foster retired on his stool at the end of the 3rd of their 4 rounder.
