Greyhound Betting Preview: Lucy and Marx cracking value at Crayford

There is some decent Open race action from Crayford tonight on Racing Post Greyhound TV (Sky 212) and there are two dogs that looks massive value from a punting perspective.

The first is Trap 2 Precious Lucy who looks to hold all the aces in the 8.50 and rates a solid bet at 3/1 with 888sport.

The bitch powered home to score last time out by 5 1/2 lengths in a time of 34.20 despite getting bumped at the first.

She produced an opening bend sectional of 13.09 that day, and with traps either side that are sleepers as far as the break is concerned looks in pole position to grab the rails early doors and kick on for home.

To me she should be no bigger than 9/4 for this and the 3s on offer looks massive and should be snapped up.

The other on the card that stands out is Trap 2 Aines Marx in the third semi-final of the John Smith’s Kent St Leger at 9.06.

Danny Mullins’ bitch created a huge impression when scoring last time out where she rode a bump at the first and powered clear to win by a facile 4 lengths from the classy Blonde Reagan.

She produced an opening sectional of 23.62 that day, and that is much quicker than anything that the Trap 1 or Trap 3 are capable of.

To me she should have little difficulty leading up on the inside and grabbing the rails and she should then be in the ideal position to turn the screw and bring her stamina into play.

I had her priced up at 5/4 on my tissue, so the 7/4 with Stan James looks massive.

Daily Sport recommended bets:

8.50 Crayford – Trap 2 Precious Lucy (3/1 888sport)

9.06 Crayford – Trap 2 Aines Marx (7/4 Stan James)
