Groves injury KO’s May 5th world title shot

Super-Middleweight Geogre Groves WBO world title shot against holder Robert Stieglitz in Erfurt, Germany on May 5th has been called off after Groves sustained an injury while training abroad. This is the second injury for Groves in as many months after he pulled out of his fight with Scot Kenny Anderson in March.

Groves is hopeful of swift recovery so he can still get his crack at the world title.

Daily Sport says – This is a bitter blow for the talented Groves who has every chance of bringing the belt back to London.
