He’s The Daddy hot stuff at 7/1

He’s The Daddy is on a handy mark now switched back to hurdles in the 2.35 at Ffos Las today and looks worth siding with at 7/1 to take advantge and land the spoils.

Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge shaped well to be placed in a couple of novice hurdles at Chepstow prior to opening his account on handicap debut at Towcester last Decmber when digging deep to beat Bebinn by 2 1/4 lengths on testing ground off a mark of 105.

The seven-year-old was then clearly amiss when pulled up next time out behind Tullyesker Hill at Warwick, and failed to shine in his final two starts when sent chasing.

He’s The Daddy failed to take to the larger obstacles, and the switch back to hurdles looks a wise move.

He gets into this off 108, just 3lb higher than when last successful, and that gives him a big shout at the weights.

The gelding also gets the services of Ryan Hatch in the saddle, and taking his 5lb claim into account is 2lb lower than when scoring at Towcester.

He also ran well on seasonal reappearance last year whenb runner-up after 186 days on the sidelines, and off bottom weight of 10st 12lb receives lumps of weight from all his rivals.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win He’s The Daddy (7/1 bet365 – BOG)
