Highland Colori looks worth siding with at 6/1 to defy top weight and land the 3.15 at Leicester today.
Andrew Balding’s charge retruned to his bdest in first time blinkers of his penultimatre start at York when keeping on strongly to beat Home Cummins by a head in a competitive 19-runner class 2 contest.
He backed that up with a fine 2 1/2 length sixth of 19 to Yuften in a hot class 2 contest at Ascot off a mark of 101 and is now able to race in this less competitive affair off 100.
It makes the eight-year-old look nicely treated on the pick of his form, especially as he has won of 111 in the past and comes into the contest cleary in great heart.
The yard is also in decent form and has a fair strike rate at the track and Highland Colori goes well form Liam Keniery having won twice and been placed once from seven starts when he has been in the saddle.
