Holland look a solid bet at 8/11 their Euro2012 campaign off to a flying start in their game against Denmark today (5pm KO, Live on BBC1).
The fixture is a repeat of their opening game of the 2010 World Cup, and it was the Dutch that won 2-0 then, and Denmark haven’t won a competitive game (excluding penalties) against them since 1967!
This looks to be an easy start for the Oranje in what is a tough looking Group B containing France and Portugal, and anything but a comfortable win would be a disaster.
They certainly have the fire power to cause the Danes real problems, especially in the shape of Arsenal’s Robin van Persie.
He has been in prolific form during the past year and at a standout 6/5 with paddy Power to score anytime looks a stonking bet.
I expect him to fire Holland to an easy victory, and fancy a repeat of the 3-0 victory when they met in Euro 2012.
That outcome can be backed at a juicy looking 14/1 with BetVictor.
