Chetan has a cracking chance at Kempton

Chetan has become well-treatrd and makes plenty of appeal at 9/1 in the 8.85 at Kempton today.

Charlie Wallis’ charge is a six time course winner was in fine form last September when rattling up a hat-trick of successes in class 6 company.

In the last of those at Chelmsford he won easing down by 2 1/2 lengths off a mark of 67.

Chetan got put up to 74 after that success and has only managed to make the frame once in his next seven starts, when third here off 72.

However he shaped as if returning to form three starts back when finishing runner-up at Chelmsford before catching the eye here when not getting the clearest of runs and finishing fourth.

Chetan also shaped better than the end resutl here last time out when sixth and has since been dropped another 1lb.

He is now able to race off a rating of 64 and that makes him well-treated on the pick of his form at a venue which brings out the best in him .

Chetan also has a 33% strike rate in class 6 company and has bagged a good draw in stall 4.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Chetan (9/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
