Indian Temple the ace in the pack at Perth

Indian Temple looks worth a bet at 7/2 in the 2.45 at Perth today now dropped in class.

Tim Reed’s eight-year-old was last successful at Ayr back in October when making all to comfotably beat Final Assault by 3 1/4 lengths in a class 3 affair off a mark of 129.

He has since had just three starts and shaped well in the second og them following a break when a 5 1/2 length third to Two Taffs in a Listed class 1 contest at Ayr off 133.

Indian Temple then seemed stretched for stamina last time out when fifth to Virgilio in a class 2 contest off the same rating.

The drop back to 2m 4f, over which he has won twice and been placed three times from six starts, is sure to suit and he has also been eased 2lb in the weights.

A mark of 131 should be within his grasp judged on his last success and Indian Temple also now drops back down into class 3 company in which he has a 40% strike rate.

This looks a gold opportunity for him to get back on the scoresheet.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 5pts win Indian Temple (7/2 generally available – use BOG firms)
