Justice holds Solid claims at Beverley

Solid Justice is on a handy mark and looks worth a wager at 10/1 in the 2.50 at Beverley today.

Kenny Johnson’s five-year-old has won twice with the last of those successes coming at Thirsk back in April where he kept on gamely to beat Wishing Well by a neck off a mark of 51.

That showed he still had the desire to win and that is a rarity and big plus in this 12-runner line-up as only three of his rivals have managed to get their head in front.

He has also posted some solid efforts since and having been once rated as high as 69 is now able to race off a career-low rating of 50.

That makes him a big player in what is a very weak class 6 contest and with Joe Fanning in the saddle he looks weighted to run a huge race.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Solid Justice (10/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
