Key Cutter goes well fresh and having slipped down the weights looks the best bet on today’s Kempton card at 9/2 in the 3.50.
Paul Webber’s gelding last scored when successful over course and distance last November, staying on well to beat Strategic Approach by 4 1/2 lengths off a rating of 119.
He is now down to a mark of just 115 and that gives him a terrific chance from a handicapping perspective.
Today’s field also doesn’t look the strongest, and the fact that he has run well after a lay-off is another plues.
With conditions clearly in his favour he looks the one they all have to beat, and at 5/1 looks solid value.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 4pts win Key Cutter (9/2 generally available – BOG firms)
