Keyser Soze the choice at Chelmsford

Keyser Soze looks on a fair mark and the one to be on in the 5.30 at Chelmsford today.

This Richard Spencer trained five-year-old has a 50 per cent strike rate on the polytrack, having won three of his six starts and also made the frame on one occasion.

He was in fine form at the start of the year when rattling-up a hat-trick on the all-weather circuit.

In the last of those successes in a class 2 at Newcastle, Keyser Soze quickened up nicely from off the pace under Adam Kirby to beat Gallipoli by three-quarters of a length off a mark of 101.

He scored a shade cosily, so off just 2lb higher does not look weighted out of things on the pick of his form.

Keyser Soze also didn’t shape toobadly last time out when 10th of 17 to Kynren in a competituve class 2 affair on the turf at Ascot, and this class 2 is less fierce and the return to thos surface is an obvious plus.

Kirby, who is also 2-3 on him, is also once again in the saddle and Keyser Soze has a healthy strike rate of 41 per cent over the trip – so looks to have lots going for him in this.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Keyser Soze (4/1 BetVictor, Betfair, Paddy Power Ladbrokes, William Hill – BOG)
