Kilcrea Vale ran well when runner-up last time out and is strongly fancied to go one better and land the spoils in the 3.15 at Kempton today.
Nicky Henderson’s eight-year-old is a dual winner over fences, with the last of those successes coming at Fontwell where he beat As De Mee by two lengths off an official rating of 142.
He comes into the race having found only the progressive Acting Lass too good at Ascot when keeping on well to go down by 2 1/4 lengths off a mark of 137.
The front two pulled 17 lenbtsh clear of the third home and the form looks solid in the context of this contest.
Kilcrea Vale could areguanly have been put up in teh weights for that effort but is able to race in this off an unchanged mark.
It makes him the one to beat at the weights with a repeat, as he has been rated as hugh as 147 over hurdles so is undoubtedly on a good mark at present.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Kilcrea Vale (4/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
