Liverpool’s Suarez nibbled at to leave club after biting uproar

BetVictor have seen “nibbles” in the market for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez to leave the club after he controversially bit Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic on the arm during yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Anfield – with Bayern Munich heading the betting to become his new home.

The Uruguay international has already been fined by the club and also offered anger management counselling by the Professional Footballers Association.

He has requested his fine be donated to the Hillsborough Family Support Group, which marked the 24th anniversary of the tragedy with a service at Anfield last Monday at which Suarez was present with his team-mates.

The striker still faces disciplinary action, with the Football Association saying they will review match footage that appears to show the Liverpool striker biting the Chelsea defender.

And despite Liverpool Managing Director Ian Ayre this morning suggesting he will not be leaving Anfield,  BetVictor have seen money for him to leave the Club before the end of the next transfer window with Bayern Munich 5/1 favourite to have his signature before the 1st September.

Spokesperson Charlie McCann said: “Ayre is obliged to say the Club will stand by their star striker but when the dust has settled both parties might think it is the right time for the parting of the ways.

“Suarez  never played another game for Ajax after his previous biting incident and it certainly wouldn’t surprise us or some punters who feel he may have played his last game for Liverpool.”
