Danecase looks worth siding with at 8/1 in the 3.30 at Lingfield today.
David Dennis’s four-year-old was last successful over course and distance back in October when coming with a powerful late run to land a class 5 contest by a neck off a mark of 74.
He got put up to 76 for that success and has since had two runs in class 4 company, disappointing at Kempton before running better when a keeping on 5 3/4 length seventh of 14 to Cappanaty Con at Chelmsford.
Danecase now returns to class 5 company off 74, just 1lb higher than when last sucessful.
He is also reunited with Dougie Costello, who steered him to victory that day, and has a 31% strike rate in the grade having won four times and been placed twice from 13 starts in it.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Danecase (8/1 bet365 – BOG)
