Mary Le Bow is back down to a handy mark looks worth siding with at 14/1 in the 3.50 at Wolverhampton today now dropped back in trip
Victor Dartnall’s mare was last successful at the track back in November over an extended 1m when coming from off the pace to score readily by 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 59.
She backed that up with a solid 1 3/4 length third in a class 5 contest ove rcourse and distance to the in-form Pactolus off a revised rating of 63, and was also far from disgraced when fourth here next time up off the same rating in another class 5 affair.
Although not at her best in hre last two starts at Lingfieldand this venue, both those runs have been over 1m 4f and the drop back down to 1m 1f will suit.
The handicapper has dropped her another 1lb to 61 andthat makes Mary Le Bow look nicely treated on the pick of her form in this clas 6 contest at a venue which clearly suits, especially with Callum Shepherd in the saddle taking another 5lb off with his claim.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Mary Le Bow (14/1 generally available – use BOG Firms)
