Lots to like about the chances of Rosy World

Rosy World shaped really well on seasonal reappearance and makes plenty of appeal at in the 2.40 at Aintree today.

That run came over 2m 4f at Plumpton where the Suzy Smith trained six-year-old mare rallied and stayed on well to finish a 1/2 length third of six to Shambra.

The runner-up Dan McGrue has since come out and landed a competitive class 3 at the same venue, so that gives the form a solid look.

It’s suggest that a 1lb rise in the weights for Rosy World is more than fair and prior to that she had rounded of last season with victory when posting and improved effort to win going away by five lengths at Plumpton over 2m 4f.

She is clearly an improving sort and the way in which she finishes off her races suggest to me that the step up to the 3m trip of this will suit.

So with that spin under her belt, and underfoot condtions in her favour, Rosy World looks to have lots going for her in this.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Rosy World (11/4 bet365, Betfair, Paddy Power, Sky Bet – BOG)
