Manangatang makes plenty of appeal in the 4.45 at Lingfield today now dropped in class.
Luca Cumani’s charge scored on debit over course and distance back in Nove, mber and was then far from disgarced on handicap debut when a 7 1/4 length third to subsequent Group 1 winner and St Leger third Stradivarius in a class 4 contest at beverley off a mark of 76.
He has failed to build on that in two subsequent starts but is able to race off 1lbn lower as a result and now drops into class 5 company.
The return to the ploytrack may also see him in a better light and on his run behind Stradivarius he should be well up to winning a race of this nature.
With the yard in decent nock and Jamie Spencer in the saddle he is stringly fancied to get back to winning ways against largely exposed types.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Manangatang (6/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
