MHD Promotions is association with A McLean’s Bookmakers today unveiled their latest SHOW – “Collision” which will take place on April 14 at Belfast’s Europa Hotel. and again #TeamDailySport are proudly sponsoring the show and providing our WORLD FAMOUS ringgirls.
Following on from their successful sell out “Assassins Creed” event headlined by world number 4 James Tennyson on 3rd February the Belfast promotional outfit return with another exciting line up headlined by popular IBF European Champion Paul Hyland Jnr.
This time round “Collision” has been stamped as the event name which see’s “Hylo” (17-0) jump back in at the deep end to take on the big punching Floyd “Pacman” Moore (15-6-2) of Fareham in England over 12 x 3 minute rounds.
Moore is a two time Southern Area Champion who last tasted defeat back in 2014 to former British Champion Gary Buckland in the quarter final of a Matchhroom Prizefighter show and has since racked up five wins and a draw including two Southern Area title fights.
With both contenders highly ranked a victory would all but guarantee the winner a shot at the British Title making the contest even more exciting for both camps and the fans.
“Moore is very exciting and always comes to fight and believes with nine wins by knock out that he only needs one clean punch to earn a victory over Hyland Jnr” Mark Dunlop told DAILY SPORT Boxing, “Paul knows that Matchroom are avoiding him after signing new British Champion Lewis Ritson on a promotional deal and granting a voluntary defence to Manchester’s Joe Murray even though Murray withdrew from a BBBofC ordered eliminator with Riston last year despite Eddie Hearn mentioning the Belfast Lightweight several times for a shot at the British or Commonwealth Lightweight Titles.”
Once again the first names released on the undercard are James Tennyson who is staying active while he awaits the result of the WBA mandated World Super Featherweight Title between Alberto Machado & Rafael Mensah which is believed to be rescheduled 5th May on the Gennady Glolovkin v Canelo Alvarez rematch on 5th May.
“Anything can happen him boxing and Tennyson will be ready to go on that date should the Machado v Mensah fight fall apart” Mark Dunlop
Daniel “Insane” McShane is back as he looks to rebuild following his recent revenge victory over Zoltan Horvath.
Coalislands talented “Fearless” Feargal McCrory joins the MHD lads in what is hoped will be a title fight following his last crowd pleasing contest at the luxurious Belfast Hotel.
